Thread: Sleeping pads!

I have both a Exped synmat and a neoair xtherm. The exped I've had for 5-6 years and does the job, i find it uncomfortable to side sleep, never felt cold, it's small and narrow so you come off it easy, the blow up bag thingy is brilliant.

The xtherm (older model)I picked up off here about 4 months ago and used it 3 or 4 times. It's a large and I find it a lot more comfortable. I haven't tried it in winter yet so can't comment on warmth, it is noisey but only while getting in and out of your bag and blowing it up is a pain.

If I was buying new I'd go neo air for the extra comfort but it comes at twice the price of the exped
