Are there any solar lights that have coloured LED like blue or red? Saw one while out in the hills recently but didn't think to ask where they got it from. In the interest of reducing sandflies and the like. Looked like an overhead ceiling fan and folds up for ease of carrying.
I use the red function on my headlight at night to reduce the interest deer take in me, but the midges/mossies etc think its a wonderful colour and come over and say hi in their thousands. :oh noes:

Think I saw somewhere that orange is not attractive to the bugs.
Correct Daithi - i have orange/yellow security lights at home. Brought them about 15 yrs ago from Mitre 10 and they should do reduce moths and the like. Hard to find but proven in my eyes!
