Well c'mon give us a look at the legs that are wearing the boots :yaeh am not durnk:
Good boots but I didnt like them as the toe was to narrow for me.
Photo would be helpful Dougie. With the legs on parade like Dundee says!
Score
Do these ones squeak ?:P
Far out, its slow today! I just realised I left a heap of ammo in my above post and no one has fired a shot. I no doubt, deserve it as well.:oh noes:
So is it the Webbing or the extra toe that is the problem ?
Ive just worn my new pair in after my first trip gave me blisters but now there my best mates! I reckon Mattahorns are the best boot going around Dougie and I love my ones to deff.
Toebox seems a little tight too, I think these guys will be good but not too sure about down hill :( maybe they are a touch too small! Guts!
Put strapping tape on your heels for a few times and then the boots will mould in,mine are under a cm bigger than my foot and were real bad uphill untill i wore them in plus you dnt need thick socks because there insulated give them a few ks nd youll never look back!
Chur! I want these to be the new best boots ever...I love my Code 5s and have had many pairs over the years but I seem to be hard on gear and the heels on the sole seem to wear out pretty quickly as I wear them everywhere :D
+1
Only way you normally damage a heel.
Oh hush you, you're just grumpy because I haven't put any pics up!
Yea get onto it Dougie I want too see the boots and Rushy wants too see your legs:D
by the way?????? how did you score a pair of matahorns any way.Just if i need another pair in twenty years time.
I do loads of work for no money :) my offsider found a pair of 6's in the store at Ohakea, nobody around there fits such small boots so he brought them home for me! Woohoo! He also got me some new (old) webbing. Score.
Free!!!!!! lucky you,we can compare boots in the bop!.
Yeap free :) if you need (want) anything issue just hit me up in a PM and I will keep my eyes peeled. I justed kitted out my mate's year six class with some oldschool woolen uniforms for their school production on the 28th Maori Battalion  even a drill cane for the wee ten year old Sar'Major!!
Were do i start
THE LEGS ARE BACK!!!!!:P:D:D:D:thumbsup:
By the way that was a sweet tramp up near turkey tail...I can't remember the exact name of it, but the view looking south west from the hill we climbed was a beautiful big braided river that looked like the tail of a turkey! I am perched on the edge of a huge cliff, it's straight down 200m+. My mate was ballsy enough to stand at the edge blowing in the wind but I am a pansy and had to crawl to the edge when he snapped this pick. BTW this is in the south island, near Arthurs Pass.
Woohoo the legs are back.
And those are the faithful squeakies - code 5's.[/QUOTE]
Giving the deer a sporting chance ?
I stick with my 400gram Full-draw hunting boots ta .
Code 5s were just getting issued when i was getting out and they used to remind me of flotation devices for some reason
I love 'em eh (code 5s), magnums and these new stupid ass "KCBs - Kiwi Combat Boots" are the ones we get issued now. KCBs are shite. Mags are like slippers, but wear out faster.
I've been in bed the last three days with mega flu so haven't even had a chance to wear my new guys around the house! They sure look pretty though...
