Thread: Spot lighting torch

I have a few modified maxtoch torches with the battery tube removed, and an external battery wired up.
Still a maxtoch torch, but with all-night runtime.
I find the beam has plenty of reach, there is enough spill so I can walk around using the light, and the colour of the beam is a lot better than all of the cool white LED lights out there.
The are lights with more lumens, more throw, smaller, lighter etc, but I feel like the older maxtoch lights just nailed the hunting sweetspot.
