So far I am quite happy with the spotlight and headlamp in my backyard. I should be able to take them out spotlighting soon and I will have to comment on how they go.

I got them directly from China including the batteries for $70 for the L21B and $48 for the SP40. I would love to support New Zealand owned businesses, but personally, I can't justify spending an extra $140 on the same products.
Yeah, feel free to import stuff yourself. The thing with Convoy and Sofirn is that they sell at wholesale rate to everyone, I get no further discount. Nitecore, Olight etc sell at retail price to support retailers. If Convoy and Sofirn sold at retail then they would be around what I sell them for. When you factor in import fees, high bulk shipping fees, GST, tax, and making it worth while, then I'm not actually making as much money as some think. I'd make way more money selling these mainstream brands, but I've never been in it for the money, I just enjoy providing reasonable prices with good service, after all it was orginally my hobby.

I also carry out all repairs, upgrades, a thorough quality control check, and provide any modifications needed. For example, the Convoy L21B's reflector in the current batch is out of focus causing the range to be considerably less, I spend up to an hour making custom gaskets to remedy this issue. The L21B with Green NM1 LED has a range of 1700m with my mod and only 1300 ish metres without.

I work alongside Convoy to design these models. The L21B was my baby, designed specially as a lightweight mountable model at an affordable price, compared to what else is available here.
