Thread: Square Grind Chainsaw Files

Gidday,

I’m wondering if anyone on here is based in the States or gets regular packages from over there and would be willing to send a few chainsaw files over for me.
I can’t find any double chisel bit flat files for square filing chainsaw chains. I’ve talked to every store I can think of but no luck.
I’d have to buy a dozen to get one of the suppliers to bring some over. I’m only after a couple to have a tutu with.
Any help would be much appreciated.

@gonetropo thank you. Do these have the 3 smaller cutting faces? The “triangle” files used are actually 6 sided. If you get my drift

dunno, i just use a normal round file. always have but most places have a placemakers near so worth a go

Whoops, sorry mate. Thought it was the triangle version.
I didn’t think it was possible to file the proper shape with a square file.
