Anyone use one?

Been thinking about getting one, I like my water when hunting

Yup I use one I've had it since September 2016 and I haven't died yet from some horrible disease.

Get a Sawyer Mini water filter instead. Screw it onto a pump bottle or Coke bottle, or fit it in-line on a hydration bladder. Fill vessel with dirty water, drink. No need to wait for a steripen to do its magic.

yep I use a life straw
basically fill a bottle or cup from wherever and suck out of it.

Theres a few options for these now, depends on how much useability and functionality you need. Have a google on hiking or camping water purification options.
Also you could just drop in an iodine tab.

Massdrop have them fairly regularly. They don't have them right now but it has come up two or three times since I have been subscribed.

I think I will keep an eye and ear open on a pen

I have a Sawyer Mini like stretch. No batteries, works instantly and lasts forever. (Well 100,000 gallons...) And they're light and small.

Highly recommend it.

I have a Sawyer Mini too. Very handy. Mind you a mate has a steri pen and that's good too
