    Stone Glacier packs

So I've had one for about a year now an awesome pack.
This weekend saw us in the Ruahine (still there) and thought I would try it in a different configuration.
I brought one of there load shelf bag with the intention of turning it into a day bag once at the hut.
So I remove the main bag slip the dry bag into the load shelf and then put another dry bag inside with my gear in it so when I shoot an animal the meat goes in the big dry bag and my gear on top.
I shot 2 deer and this worked perfect.
1st picture is as day pack 2nd is meat from 1 deer and day bag 3rd ready for the home and that bloody hill.

Good idea might try that with mine. I paid $1100 shipped from states for the 5900 bag and frame. I seen one at hunting and fishing other day, same as mine for $1450. Thats getting up there. Great packs been a game changer for my shoulders and back.

Well worth a try no more big day packs or taking a second little packs that don't carry weight well.
I had two reds in that dry bag fitted perfect could have fitted another if I could carry it.
