Thanks in advance

If you mean the scabbard i find it really good for walking in somewhere if theres no chance of a shot or its steep and you need both hands so long as your packs got straps for adjusting your load so you can secure the barrel
I like to have heavy stuff as close to my back as possible, if its to far back it creates to much leaverage on your shoulders and is uncomfortable as fark to carry. I have a lightweight drybag that gets strapped to the top or bottom of my pack with all the light & bulky (jacket puffy sleeping bag etc) shit in it if I dont have enough space for meat. Works well although I do usually have space to stuff it all in.
