    stoney creek long bush coat

Anybody got one? What's it like? Usable in the north island or too warm for movement? Would you buy it again?

    Cheers

Have one, hunt central nth island

Used it during the weather bomb last week
Nice and warm, windproof, was dry underneath but I wouldn't say we got drenched.
I just adjusted my layers underneath so I didn't get too hot.

    Buying again

I'd prob go a full zip version as getting layers on and off with the anorak style is a bitch if it's blowing a gale and sideways rain

    And never go full retail
Went to buy some camouflage trousers the other day but I couldn't find any.

have one, was told before purchasing that they aren't "noisy" in the bush, but they are. Paid $125 less than the price showing.

Another worth looking at is the Stoney creek Pioneer, often gets overlooked because you can't get it from HnF and isn't under the hunting series in the website.
A mate keeps the long bush coat in the backseat of his hunting wagon so I've worn it a few times but found the inside quite noisy, but pretty breathable unless you're chasing pigs.
