    They're not to bad, just a basic pack. The chest strap is useless, pops of as soon as you pull it tight when you've got meat in the bag. Probably go check them out in a shop would be best.

    Hard to beat a MacPac, even though they are not the company they used to be, there pack designs are tried and tested and a re comfy, not camouflage but not sure I want a camouflage pack, do not want to be shot in the back...

    I had one. Me and my bro went hiking, I used my macpac and he used my SC pack.
    After 2hr of solid up with fully loaded packs my sholders were sweet but his were screwed!.
    stick with a company that has made its reputation out of making hiking packs, then you cant fail.

    back pack

    Interesting, i'm checking packs out too.I have a badlands medium sized pack which I bought for a day pack. its very comfortable with plenty of space between your back and the webbing. I really need a larger one for overnights to carry tent etc so I think a Mac pac is probably the way to go.
