    SUP - issue

Received a SUP (not over Barrel) for my .22LR and 22 WMR (Mag)
Was sighting in a Thermal on 308 - 2 sots all done
Swapped the Thermal to the Brno 611 22WMR
40 shots later I gave up
    left 3"
    Right 4"
Up and down not so much - more sideways

Then I thought - will try without SUP
    2 shots done

Will try it on the .22LR when Burris scope arrives
But interested to hear what others say ??

Not necessarily. If it is baffle strike, it could be an alignment issue caused either by the barrel thread and shoulder, or the suppressor thread and shoulder. I'd say barrel thread is probably more likely, but that's just a guess.

    Snap.
Just had a similar experience with my 204.
Have steel ase muzzle forward that came with it.getting 50 mm group at 200 m.
Thought I'd try the 6mm dpt over barrel.next 3 shots touching.
    Hmmm?
    No.no strike

    No.no strike
I can imagine that could be a change in barrel harmonics due to the change in attached mass, even if there's nothing wrong with suppressor or barrel thread. 50mm group at 200m is a lot less deviation than 7" horizontal spread at .22mag range!

@Sarvo, was the suppressor screwed on tight ? Loose suppressor can cause some very strange results in a rifle that worked fine 5 minutes before...

It's not always that easy to see evidence of baffle strike.

    Yes screwed on tight
Gunsmith said it will be baffle lineament - so told to send it back to fix and he will test it

I had trouble with my 223 sometimes it was good then I'd remove the suppressor and put it back on and it would be all over the place there was no baffle strike but gunworks took it out to 243 size since then it been excellent
