I have used DPT and MAE overbarrel suppressors.

Noise Reduction: Equal
Weight: DPT is much lighter
Recoil Reduction: MAE is noticeably better (probably because it's heavier)
Handling: DPT is shorter, more balanced and way easier to carry
Build quality: MAE is an absolute tank, but I don't see the DPT breaking down any time soon either.
View through scope: DPT does have a larger diameter, so the end of the suppressor may be visible through the scope at say 3x or 4x power. Whereas the MAE has a smaller diameter.

What do you do about the mirage from a hot suppressor? Asbestos cloth? O-:
