Our experience sharpening a few Svord knives over the years is that the hardness can vary quite a bit from knife to knife. Some are fairly soft so won't hold an edge well, but quick and easy to tickle up. Others are significantly harder and will hold an edge a lot longer, but be hard to tickle up.
I guess their heat treatment varies a bit.
My peasant knife seems pretty much mid hardness (55-56 rockwell if I had to guess) which is what you'd expect from Svord on average.
