Thread: Swags

I've had and used just about every type of Swag you can get ( I live in North Queensland for much of the year ) and spend a lot of nights camped out in the bush .
Any Swag thats half decent is very bulky and not a backpack option . Even when you are traveling and camping from a vehicle they take up huge amounts of space and are a bit of a pain .
Not many are truly waterproof and most are uncomfortable if your honest with yourself .
The only Swag I currently own is just a local made canvas one with isn't inclosed with hoops etc , it is just a canvas bag with a foam matteress and a zip up one size .
It keeps the dew off you and is ready to use in three seconds when rolled out beside the ute .

It is comfortable , weatherproof , up off the ground and totally bug proof and packs up into a bag half the size of my traditional Swag .
I wont buy another "Swag" ever again .
