    Swarovski ATC spotter

Got a chance to take out my Atc for is 1st walk into the hills last Saturday,

Climbed up to a high point that overlooks a few close slips and was checking out some slips between 1200y and 2000y and I was blown away

Didn't see any deer and got rained off the hill at about 5pm as the thunderstorm rolled in. But was so very impressed with the baby spotter, great size and nice and clear.
The only downside is it has a tiny window of focus but is not a big deal overall and everything has a compromise and its size and weight makes up for it.

I have an older Swarovski ATS spotting scope and its great but its so overkill for the Ruhaine's and ill mostly only use it on the range now.

I've got an older HD80 which when set up on a survey tripod is outstanding. Middle of winter at night I can pick up bods walking in front of their snowcat lights on Mt Ruapehu.........81km away
