    Question Synthetic hunting/tramping boot

Going to replace my Hitecs. I dont want Asolo leather super duper boots. I dont need them. I hunt in the Central North Island with minimal river crossings and scree faces. My foot is a little wider than usual which is why Hitecs where good for me. Has anyone else worn/wearing something similar they would recommend?

Some of the NZSAS boys have them. Well most of them do and they love them. Very light, very comfortable and very supportive. They're Goretex so are waterproof, the synthetic upper is pretty tough so will be fine for central NI hunting. Not cheap though, but good gear never is. $499 RRP I think.

    I'd buy them.

How can they be water proof with that great big hole in the top?
Spanners, Normie and Dundee like this.
