Synthetic sleeping bag for (west coast) autumn/winter Tahr-hunting?

Looking for advice on late season synthetic sleeping bag for hunting west coast and high up east coast for tahr?
Would like one that doesn’t get cold when wet/damp at same level as the down bag. It also need to be among the warmer bags.

Synthetic, light and compact, a surface that repells some water, as well as reasonably priced, is a whole lot to ask for, but What would be your reccomendations along those lines? Would be Nice with a bag I could just use under a fly with little fuzz.

Also need it fairly quick, so needs to be available in stock somewhere on NZ..

Probably best to go with a hydrophobic coated down bag.
A synthetic bag to what you ask is going to be bulky.
Marmot do a synthetic bag that would probably do it.

Rab or one planet would be a good start. If you can wait a week or so get a Kuiu bag

Could lend you a Goretex-equivalent/MVP bivi-bag/waterproof outer if that would help? Kitchen scales say 850gms which probably doesn't meet lightweight thing, but there if if it saves a few $$ for a waterproof sleeping bag, might be worth it. PM if interested.

Something like this, olive green version: https://www.armykit.com/british-army...over-3-colours

We've got some synthetic/down bags with the synthetic in the ground facing part of the bagbaggage down on the afforded and top. From Kathmandu. They're a lot bulkier and heavier than my down bag.

Identify your target beyond all doubt because you never miss (right?) and I'll be missed.

Given the weight and massive pack size of synthetic bags, 1250g for a 0deg comfort rated Rab bag, I would opt for a down bag with a water resistant outer - something like pertex - and hydrophobic treated down. Even with those you can add a bivvy bag to this (~300g), which would still weigh less and give you more versatility in the future.
Unless you are sleeping in a downpour and lying in a puddle that set up should be pretty alright.

Ive got the exped waterbloc bag, so far has solved the issue of getting wet and haven't been cold in it. Think its - 15
