    Target camera / monitor

Anyone using cameras to check paper targets when shooting at distance?

There must be an easy way to do this in 2021. Are you f class folk still using people to manually place coloured disks and dowling to indicate hits or am I showing my age.

Suggestions for a good livestream camera system would be appreciated.

Would a cheap battery powered security camera work when streamed to a cell phone? Do battery powered security cameras even exist?

Yea I can shoot steel, and yes I still want to see groups on paper.

    Cheers

Most fullbore clubs are now using electronic target systems. Either Silver Mountain with a few ShotMarker systems now appearing.
They use acoustic sensors on the targets with the shot positions displayed on tablet, phones or laptops back at the mound.

A camera system is not too hard to build from parts available online but like mikee, I would just get a ShotMarker.

Thanks fellas the Shotmarker looks awesome.

I’ll price it up for a long term investment and try build a budget version in the mean time

No NZ distributor but buying direct from Adam MacDonald is easy. Mate has just purchased 3 units from him.
You've obviously already looked here https://macdonald-shop.myshopify.com/
