Tatonka 75+10 Bison fitting rifle scabbard

    Hi guys an gals
Just purchased a Tatonka Bison pack and got the scabbard to go with it. Problem is.............. no one, and i mean no one knows how these should be fitted properly. Been back to place of purchase, given lots of options, none of which seem appropriate, none of which seem to be accurate or look right......... even been to other outlets........ sales people give ideas, but no one seems to have it nailed. Tried getting in touch with Tatonka, but nothing has arrived.
So question goes begging......... does anyone on here know the correct method of attaching scabbard to pack? The buckles and length dont seem to be aligned to match anything on the pack......... Pics would be awesome
    Cheers in advance.

Have the same issue, nobody knows how they are supposed to be setup. Maybe the nz hunter boys?

This is how I mount my scabbard(not Tatonka, but will work the same) on my 90+10.

Have a cactus scabbard on my macpac Cascade, the side compression straps just feed through the loops on the back of the scabbard... Doesn't sound like it's that simple here though

Can't the strap be shortened by doubling back on itself?

Anyone had success? Was thinking about a new tatonka to replace my macpac Cascades that's ready to retire but not if I can't get a scabbard on

@223nut i really rate the cactus scabbard they are multi fit on other packs. What i like is when you adjust them, the cover wraps around scope giving it protection.
Been a few on TM for sale lately

I can get it to work on my macpac cascade 75ltr, took a bit of fiddling but seems to work well. Heading away over the weekend so will take a couple of photos when my pack is assembled.
