Now that my favourite playground has all the huts burnt down or about to be....

Can I please have advice on a good blow up mattress, tent big enough for me and the mutt and a fly.

It’s a shit sandwich but perhaps Big Agnes can wrap you up in her loving arms and console you. She comes highly recommended apparently..

You are looking at this with typical narrow mind.

Instead think of the potential business opportunity that has just arisen. Open a shop in Galatea or Murupara that sells Fertiliser, netting , rotary hoes and Harley Davidsons.

Very entrepreneural of you, I assume the fert,netting and rotary hoes would be for their kumura plants. I'm sure they won't be growing tomato plants as the was was brought to NZ by westerners and they don't want any western influence in the Urerweras...

Be chilly down the Waiau in my tent... cold enough in the huts.

Did anyone see the state of the Central Waiau and the size of the new fire? It was amazingly nice.
