    Titanium Pot/Cup/Billy ?

I’m in the market for a Pot/Cup to use on my MSR Pocket Rocket 2 stove .
Ive never used Titanium pots etc , does anyone have advice on size/make/model etc in the world of cooking stuff or other alternatives to these Titanium offerings ?

I’d recommend the 650 ml toaks ti mug. It means you can comfortably boil 400 ml water which is what you need for the average dehy meal. I have one with the msr micro rocket and it works well.

Will a standard gas canister fit inside the Toaks 650ml or do you have to go 750ml or bigger ?

Can check what size mine is when I get home, I got a bigger one (750???) and it was to big to fit in the pack pocket, same diameter but taller

I went for a Toaks 750 ml, Takes small canister, cooker, canisterstand, as well as a lighter and a flint, a coffee sachet or two and a small spoon. Still has a bit of room to spare.
I went this way as it is enough for two people for a cuppa each or two dehy meals. I take my boy out a lot so the bigger one is ideal.
I have this one but didn't pay that much for it.

I’ve the micro rocket. I’d not bother with titanium. The weight saving is fuck all over other offerings. I have a Primus Etaboil with the heat exchanger. You’ll save more in extra gas weight and dollars going this way. I have a AliExpress one I could dig out too for a look.
I had a bunch of Ti stuff. Moved a bit of it on. Snow Peak is good and I have a double walled mug from them plus a back up 600ml billy I can use if I’m out longer than a few days. Ti also transmits heat really well so the wall gets bloody hot really fast.
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Ahhhh just checked and my Toaks is actually 750 not 650 so go for that one, as above. The handles on mine don't get hot either. And also, while it's true Ti heats up very fast it also cools very fast...

Ive used it for a total of 8 days away and its all good .
I use a MSR Pocket Rocket stove and it plus the canister , a cloth and a lighter fit inside no worries .
The only thing to be aware of is the handles get bloody hot , so be careful picking it up .
