I have tried other local suppliers and NZ Safety only ones i found - and $199 per 100 belond my budget. This product is issued to workers @ the smelter - definitely a commercial "safety" product. (they're little cloths impregnated with some kind of special fluid, they come in a little foil sachet - you can re-seal and reuse for a while too. you can smell solvent of some sort, but are 'alcohol free' according to packaging)
Apparently there's a 3M product - waay cheaper - but I've tried most - and not one has impressed me. This one trully is amazing. Optician-supplied 'cleaning fluid' might clean lenses - but it does not have any of the anti-fog qualities this product does.
Yes it's totally comptible with all lenses and coatings - my mate's been using for a while on his Leupold scope, and I did same on my Luger scope. My own prescription glasses are multi-coated, and no harm noted).
I've already sent a message to our local H&F retailer suggesting they buy bulk and retail per 5 or 10 pack. Put some pressure on your local retailer?
