I use the FAT wrench bought off workshopinnovation. I like it
Yep the Fat wrench is good value for money and they work well
I bought one and cant figure out how it works :-(
Looked at those FAT wrenches. Looks like I will get one once lock down is over.
@Sarvo The FAT wrench? If you pull the bottom and twist it should wind the torque setting up or down which can be seen on the side of the body. Then tighten until the wrench clicks or release pressure indicating that it is torqued for your desired setting
I have played with one of the digital FAT wrenches. It seemed to beep instead of releasing pressure when tightening to indicate you have hit your setting. I wasn’t a fan of that one.
I recently bought a Toptul 1-8Nm torque screwdriver. Seems to be pretty good and all the other gear I've seen/had in this brand has been really good as well.
I've actually done some testing on my 22lr's stock torque settings and it did make a difference.
Uhhhhhhhh....
One thing is a bit disconcerting when first using one is how they "break".
You can easily think you have stripped a thread.
Just remmber when you have finished using it to take it back to the zero setting.
Where are you guys getting any brand other than fat wrench from?and what’s the cost?
ive got snapon because i use them a bit for my work 1400 tied up in 2 tourqe wrenches tho :(
Warren and Brown here.
Norbar and KD, both very good
I have a German Wiha Torque set. Very well made, easy to use. Not cheap but quality.
