I have been using new balance trail running shoes for hunting, love the idea of shoes I haven’t felt like I have needed boots but the problem is I go through a pair every 8-9 months as I use them pretty hard, I have been using new balance because they do a 4E size for my weird hobbit feet.
Does anyone else use trail runners that have wide feet? I’ve heard Solomon’s are good but for skinny feet?
Cheers
I use Solomon Trail shoes when walking the dog, A pair lasts oover 12 months @ 6-8km per night, Miss about 4-5 nights per year due to weather and its all riverbed and "offroad"
they last well for my feet, Wont buy anything else now ASICS ? lasted 7 months

+1 for Solomons. Have a couple pairs that are pretty robust considering the treatment they get.
Dunno if I would hunt in the ones I have due to the terrain and water but that's me.
