Trigger CZ452 17 hmr
I’m keen to get some work done on the trigger or get a replacement as factory is quite heavy and clunky. It’s adjusted as light as it can go. I got a replacement spring for it from Aussie but it was way to light and fired if bumped hard. Glad I tested it well before using!
Any suggestion of a gunsmith in the Waikato - maybe a timney replacement is best answer

Sorted mine with a Timney via Reloaders. Had to dremel a wee bit of the inletting but all good.

I got a timmer fitted through broncos sports bro its a major improvement

Timney sounds like a good option!

Have you tried altering the sear engagement with a bit of aluminium tape around the trigger pivot, and/or tried a couple of ball point pen springs to increase trigger pull weight or a spacer on your current spring? Lots of info on these mods on rimfire central. I did it on a CZ452 and the trigger was excellent (after a bit of testing and changing and testing) and completely consistent/safe.

Yes tried a spacer to increase the pressure on the new spring- felt good but still fired when dropped onto butt. It was close to being ok but not quite. Would be safe for a range gun but not for a hunting rifle

Ordered a YoDave kit today

Fitted YoDave kit today
Easy process
Trigger much better now with almost zero creep and breaks around 2.4 lbs - on bench.
Might lighten a tad after a few test shots.
Passed lots of bump tests using rubber mallet on end action and also on stock when reassembled.
