Tuatahi Axe
Just got my new Tuatahi working axe. Looks great took an age to arrive but it's 100% made in NZ cost a truck load but good stuff is worth investing in. Have to say I'm a bit disappointed though. I put it out by the wood pile before I went to work and the pile was no smaller when I got home. There seems to be fault, I will have to ring the buggers.

Man I've coveted one of them for a long time.
I've got a lovely old Kelly that'll have to keep cutting the mustard a while longer yet.

Yep many years ago a Kelly or a Plumb were the axes of choice before the world was over run with crap. Good to know they are still in use.

Mm those racing axes are the bees knees, been eyeing them up but there are so many different grinds I am never sure which to go for so I have not pulled the trigger, what option did you get and what was your reasoning ?
-
Mate I just went for the work axe. Its a general duty axe for chopping not racing. So you know dispatching zombies and other stuff that needs cleaning up around the property.
