Had a bit if a play limbing a few trees and it sure works, then spliting pine rings 8t works better than my fiskars splitting axe. Only problem is when you get the damn thing stuck, had to get brave and chainsaw around it CAREFULLY in order to get the ring light enough to reverse the axe on the chopping block
