    Twin needle belt rig........?

    Who has one?

    Are they useful?

I prefer a belt kit over a day bag and this option seems to sit between the two.

Or is it going to be another one of those things that I buy that seem like a great idea but end up gathering dust?

    Thanks in advance.

I have a very similar belt rig to that of the TNTG setup and I love it to bits.

Got to love been able to change your rig around depending on what you are up to. Although it is pretty easy to put to much on it just because you have spare columns lol.

If you do buy it and decide not to use it much then I am sure you will have plenty of buyers on here...

Awesome bits of kit, super comfy and you don't notice it's there. Flick them a pm and Matt will give you some advice and hook you up.

There is another kiwi company called Neltec (Based in Palmy) They do a similar set-up. Just like TWTG they accommodate custom jobs etc.

I'm getting them to make me a custom rig for rimfire and rabbiting. I don't like the molle method because I keep my pouches in a locked 50Cal tin when travelling, and its a pain to take the pouches on and off for Molle. So they are making me something similar with easier to remove pouches. I took in my GPS, knife, ammo pouches and radio and gave them an idea of what I wanted.

Won't be cheap, but its local jobs, made to my spec and if it doesn't quite work I can take it back to modify. Have tried chinese airsoft pouches and they are cheap for a reason.

Do you also carry a day pack with it to carry any meat out?

I have one of the mini versions, just carries my PLB and a basic survival kit, gps, and ammopouch/map and compass, all the things I need at hand. Everything else goes in the pikau in a dry bag. Seems to work

Does the daypack not push the belt down around your arse?

No, not with a just raincoat and water bladder in it. With meat and or a head as I've done, and as pictured, it's just a matter of adjusting straps or the load to suit.
The belt is very, very comfortable.

Yeah their packs are sort of designed around the belt in that they sit just above it when done up nicely. You honestly don't even feel the belt on you they are that comfy.
