Thread: Twin needle mtn gear bipod pouch attachment

Anyone running this with a kuiu pro bino harness? Wanting to know if u can attach it somehow to the side? Thank you

I am doing exactly this after buying the bipod pouch at the sika show for my MTN Gear Mountain Bipod. I have it connected to the side of the bino pouch where the harness connects to it. I'm currently using some polymer D-Ring carabiners through the webbing to secure it to the harness, but have ordered some thin webbing clip hooks to replace these with.

I was thinking of trying to get some heavy duty Velcro to see if i could secure it horizontally across the bottom of the bino pouch, but it would stick out either side a fair amount if so.

Will post a photo of the setup tonight when i get home from work.

I use the twin needle pouch on mine.
Another option is to rivet a small pic rail to your harness strap and clip the bipod on to it.

What's the attraction of having your bipod hanging off your bino harness?

Saves having it in your pack and no need to have it on the rifle till needed.
Gone are the days of taking ages fitting a Harris or have that extra weight on the rifle.

What he said Shamus. 25/08 do u use kuiu and twin needle on yours or u using twin needle bino rig? I'm not keen on too much on front of me as get hot so keen to keep as is but just add the bipod pouch. Cheers all

I had a kuiu but sold it and brought a Twin needle it has a magnetic close and twin zips and fits the Swarovski El range better.
I also have my plb in one of their pouches under the bino harness and radio / gps on the other side.
Works well

Have to have a look at them as have same binos. Just wanna make sure light weight and small profile cheers.

Na mate they are there webbing hook clips I found on AliExpress for like a couple of bucks, which are actually the same type of clip Kuiu use on their phone pouches and other Bino harness accessories.

Keeps pouch a little tighter against the bino case than the larger D-Ring carabiners.
