Really really want their awesome belt set up in the mollicam style but I keep spending all my pocket money!!!
My boss at the magazine has used a day bag and belt set up and absolutely loves the stuff.

I've got pouches and gaiters etc from them and had a pack and jacket modified also. I would recommend them.
Urban Dictionary: Niddle
Niddle
To appear busy but in reality not actually doing anything. To spend time attending to tasks do do not actually require attention.
"Stephen has been niddling around all morning and has not got any work done. He is a right niddler."
I've only used them to make some alterations to a pack but they are very helpful, all ex macpac employees.
Yep, have one of their Mollyme day packs and a couple of pouches. Very impressed with the service and the product.
Good solid well made gear. But pricey,For the belt set up and a few pouches not much change out of $400.
I'm more of a "London Bridge Trading" man, Eagle Industries are pretty good as well.
Used them for alterations. Amazing stuff they have coming thru the pipeline now. Worth it I think!
Used them for alterations and bought a PLB pouch. Good service. U get what u pay for
Feel free to correct me but my invoice for that was $400,Stoney creek pouch not included.
Great service in my experience. Had a number of repairs done and a custom made fly. All good.
Attachment 32835 went to twiinneddle yesterday don't go if you don't want to spend money bort hunters belt and a couple extra pouches good gear good people IMO have set up to suit me and what I like to have on me while out hunting good system can add to or remove to suit yourself

I have the molle me day pack. No frame in it. It is a bit of closed cell foam back. It is well made and i have stuffed a chamois with day gear but it was bloody tight. I think if it were 5 -10 L more it would be perfect as a day hunt pack. Pretty expensive but seems to be durable.
I spent a bloody expensive 55 minutes there on Saturday arvo, custom belt setup. Neat stuff, great people.

Being down south, what makes this gear so good? besides the high price tag.
looking at it, the weight alone would pull my pants off.
KH
heres light weight !!! but how long will this last and how much gear will it carry! it all depends on what you want to do in life !Attachment 32965
Well kiwi hunter that's probably a fair call if you have had and tried some other form of bumbag (I thort it can't be much better than anything else out there) when you see it and handle it you know it's a quality product as for pulling downwards add a yoke system that can take a hydration pack and it goes up a knotch again ,bottom line for me it's the most comfy belt I've. Used
I have just spent 5 hours out on the hill this afternoon and it is so comfy and great to use. you will soon see what I am selling on buy sell on the forum I am not going backward only forward. and my shorts never come down!!!!
I don't know how you guys can stand having all that shit hanging off your waist. What do you put in all those pouches that's so important anyway?
I
Hi Bernie
I have tried a few including light day packs.
the SC was too big for me as just a belt, a little mod and it's done the job 10 or so years now.
It has hung in the reloading room for the last two years, but it's coming off the wall next month:)
I find it ok on the tops.
I asked about the yoke system / shoulder harness. The idea is that the waist belt be adjusted to sit on top of your pelvis, and your pelvis take the load.....and not to have the shoulder harness, if used, to support even more weight in the waist belt setup.
My impression is that the shoulder harness is their version of a camel back hydration / micro day bag set-up, and that it attaches to the waist belt just to stop it flapping about.
The load is to be carried by the belt on the hips, not the shoulders.
Just to be able to walk in off the street, and spend an hour with real people who make the product and build a personal, modular system is fantastic.....
I saw Quentins setup on Saturday..... I'm sure if he chose to hunt without the dogs he could quickly detach his canine first aid kit and replace it with another pouch with gear for a different hunt.
Money well spent on a great Kiwi product IMO

I am glad that I had that bag of first aid gear for the dogs with me today as had to patch spot up and vet called into night on the way past it may look a lot of stuff on their but it's not that heavy. Their more ammo in their than any thing else.
Quentin
I here you about weight.
I went from 308 to 22-250 now going to .223.
I'll have less weight and more room:) for...
KH
Out were I was yesterday the land own wants you to carry a minimum of PLB and a R/T and first aid kit that's just before you go over the cattle stop Agr hat to be worn on the bike at all times. I don't mind it's all easy to do
Your not old fashioned Tahr it's what works for you.
I used the same set up for years off a Grunt belt and floated between a frame pack and the pikau which has mod's on the harness now.
We all had green river knives and swanndri's still good gear but heavy when wet, time moves and bark River, huntec, swazi, and now the list is large but the clothing is light and warm.
We didn't have PLB's a note in the hut book or a mate see you Monday week:)
Ranger finder I use a mate's, mostly I still use the cross hair system.
Us little guy's around the waste it's alright if you have hips to hold that stuff, shoulder straps just keep it in place with out hitching it up all the time.
Older and wiser I hope. But 400.00 that seams a lot for the little bag around the waste.
