    Tyvek for ground sheet.

I am after a piece of Tyvek to use as a ground sheet for my tentfly/tarp set up. Can anyone tell me where you can get a piece about 2m x 3m or there abouts without having to buy a whole roll?

    Thanks,
    R

Rock up to a local building site where they're using the stuff. Give them a packet if bikkies for morning tea and they'll cut you off a length. That's what I did.

Nah, doesn't matter. All those white building wrap fabrics are supposedly one-way vapour permeable.

It comes up on Tard me from time to time. I picked up a roll with about 5m left on it for $20 a few years ago. It is bloody slippery as a ground sheet. If your sleeping on a slight slope, you will wake up off it most of the time. I use a bit for a tent footprint and it works great for that

Yep, they are used as moisture barriers so youd want to hope so
