    Have a GME in my truck and 2w hand held in the glovebox and also 2 Uniden 2W units in my hunting gear. 5W are good but heavy (relative to 2W units)
    I really like the ICOM Base units but they are expensive (their PRS units are not sold in NZ) their advantage is they can be jiggered with to boost the Tx above 5W which is a bit naughty really
