I came across this stuff last year while googling how to fix my worn out windscreen wiper linkage on the old hilux. I keep a small ball of it in my kit always now! It can be used to fix or make a ton of stuff. I've used it for various fixes out on the hill including making a splint for my broken finger when a horse pulled back on a rope I was tying in Canada.
You just pop some of the beads in a cup of hot water at home they'll go translucent and soft then mold it into a ball so when you're on the hill you can use your cooker to remelt it. Better living.
