    Great write-up, Ryan. I recently bought a pair of these as well. Awesome value, but the purple hazing (chromatic aberration is the technical term) is pretty bad near the edges, especially in high contrast situations like the skylining you mentioned. In the centre of the image, they are sharp, clear and have great colour rendition.

    It is cropped, showing mainly the edge of the image so looks worse than through the binos themselves.

    The hinge on mine wasn't as tight out the box as yours. QC issue, perhaps?
    Overall, I'd buy these again.
