Thread: walking poles

Got 2 buggered knees and 1 stuffed ankle tendon. I use 2 poles all the time on bush hunts now and couldn't hunt rough country without them. Cork handled telescoping ones available at most h&f SHOPS FOR ABOUT $40 EACH.. I don't use them on bird hunts where risks of a fall are minimal, but they simply take a huge load off your legs allowing you to take a lot of it on your arms and also provide security of balance. This alone has saved my butt more than once.
