Thread: Warm, lightweight clothes

Down all the way. Macpac have a clearance sale on at present which could be worth a look for you. Uber Light Hood ($115) with maybe a heavier down vest for core (Halo $125?) and/or a windproof layer on top? I have an old Sabre softshell which is prob not "light", but has done some hard yards. I'd be willing to pack a bit more weight and be warm. Where are you based? You can give it a try if you want? If it works for ya, use it for the trip, wash it, and send it back.
