I committed a sin a few months ago by going to h&f to get a sharpener for my hunting knife and having read about the popularity on here about the Warthog, that was my goal to purchase.

I ended up walking away with the Lansky with the four stones and I'm very happy with it. But why would he under sell to me when I was prepared to buy the more expensive Warthog?
I realize this sort of sharpener (Lansky) is not what you're looking for but just thought I would share my experience.

I could never sharpen anything to save myself. Brought a Lansky thinking it would solve my woes and get my knives sharp.
I hated it so ...........went to second hand shop and brought a hanful of knives and then 2 of these
one 500grit and one 2000 grit and taught myself to sharpen properly

However a Warthog looks like it might be an easy way to set an angle on a knife that has seen better days
