I love my TC8 from zeropak, such a step up from the kenwood mincer I used to have.
And its quiet enough I don't have to wear earmuffs when using it.
I haven't had any problems mincing tendons and silver skin.
You won't regret it if you buy one.
just got TC12, just what others have said, bloody great
Have a TC8. would go for a TC12 if I was buying again, the 8 does the job but struggles on some poorly prepared meat, which I confess is entirely my fault LOL
Other things I have learnt:
- Get the 7l sausage stuffer. Easier than reloading a smaller one all the time.
- The burger patty maker that goes on the sausage stuffer is excellent
TM-12 from farmlands. Only problem is I bought a mixer later on and if I had got a different mincer with same square drive then the mincer would drive the mixer. Not that hard to use handle on mixer but would have been nice.
Yip been using a TC-12 for a few years now.Great machine.
Thanks for all the positive feedback on our machines.
We just had a new shipment of mincers arrive. I can do 20% off to forum members on all models. message me if interested.
ZeroPak Vacuum Sealers, Zero air Zero waste
I hate buying shit that will inevitably end up in landfill earlier than they should, but at the time I was looking, this was recommended by someone on here and met the budgetary requirements: https://www.topmaq.co.nz/1200w-meat-...tric-3prgr1740. So far it's chewed through 6 or 7 animals without incident.
I just hope it lasts me until I can make the step up to a Zeropak one!
bunji likes this.
Another big fan of the Tc models from Zeropak. I've got a Tc8 and the only time it's packed a sad was on poorly prepared old cow belly flaps. For the casual home butcher it is plenty for ripping through any sheep or deer.
Very simply to use and the parts seem very well made and robust.
@zeropak I'm into a TC12. Thanks. PM sent.

I have a Chinese made "MK10 meat grinder"
I works amazingly well, if my meat is all pre-cut into strips no more than 2 inches across I can mince 3 deer in under an hour. The mince is great. The finish on the mincer isn't perfect, initially some of the chrome peeled off the auger and I had to peel off the loose chrome as I didn't want it in my mince, and I had to make a narrower sausage stuffing spout to fit sheep sized casings, it came with a pig sized one. Otherwise it is a really good mincer!
My mate has a kenwood mincer. works a charm. his brother in law's 3 phase mincer is the business though. chews through an old bull easy as
