    What ever you get make sure it wide.
    I've played with many slings, padded and non padded and I like simple nylon webbing that is 1.5" wide.

    Like Res I have grown to like and prefer a sling that can be used as a shooting aid, with a bit of practice they provide awesome stability.
    Some of the more 'Practical Shooting' sling have bungee sections sewn in which can help absorb the weight of the rifle.
