Thread: What's a good set of Topo Maps for a Garmin GPS???

I'm looking at purchasing a Garmin 64s GPS unit and I can't get my head around the Topo map selection! Are all Topo maps created equal? What's Hot and Not out there (and why). Oh, and are the topos available from (cough!) Guncity any good at $129??? That said I'm not about the cheapest price but what's best for use within the NZ backcountry for hunting and also the most versatile (if such a thing is an option.) Cheers!

Fresh maps is pretty good.

Hi Stuart. I'd love to as a friend has a 62S and he highly recommends them but I'm after a something a little more newer that I can write off against the farm. Sorry :-(

I'm using the Map Toaster hunts maps on my Rino. Seem pretty good.
