Where do you carry your rangefinder?

How are people toting their rangefinders? Haven’t found a happy solution yet, want it easy to get at but not snagging on stuff.

I use a bino harness, but not a bino pack. I’m thinking of getting a pouch made to go on my pack waist belt, but secure. One that came with the Rf comes off too easy - how I haven’t lost it already is a matter of good luck more than anything!

So, how do you do it?!

As to the pouch falling off, could always slip the lanyard (assuming yours has one) over waist strap as a back up, your going to notice it bashing your kneecaps. Usually have mine in day pack. If i need rangefinder its going to be more than 200m theory being that you will have time to set up a longer distance shot where you need the rangefinder

Rangefinder in breast pocket on one side, phone in breast pocket on the other. Both have lanyards.

Do not... ever... forget to put the lanyard around your neck. It’s an $800 mistake.

In its pouch, permanently attached to the right hip strap of my daypack. Easy to get to in a hurry. To date it has very rarely been an issue there.

I've got a Hunters Element bino bag as well as the range finder pouch and clipped them together. Other side I have added my plb. Can remove if not needed, works well.

Before I had my rangefinding binos, my old range finder lived in a small front pocket on my alaska guide creations bino harness.

Mrs Finnwolf carries our one like that - only in her zipped up top pocket instead of down the front of her shirt, mainly cause the ‘nockies are down her shirt front. ( I’m referring to binos- not THOSE nockies!)

Just adapted a cheap pouch to fit on rifle sling.
