    For a winter bag you want 850+ fill power down and about 650 grams of it for a minus 9-10 c bag.
    Look for a good brand with these specs. You can decide what sort of outer material you want. Heavier or lighter fabric.

    In your sleeping pad look for a R value of 6 or more for winter camping. The Nemo Tensor gets good raps and not too heavy. I use a down mat 9, good pad larger and heavier but fair trade off for winter.
