Would you like a cup off coffee? I asked.......

Got tired of chewing on the wall paper, offered to make the wife a brew, she watched me make it, and rolled her eyes, shook her head and declared: " I have too many children".........

    I made it with this:

I like the light weight stove with the heavy wind break and heavy trivet rods. What your cowboy coffee recipe?

Wind break (pineapple tin) and rods (tent pegs cut short) weighs fuck all and fit inside the cup, pic might be deceptive. I use the same get up for hexi, heat is well concentrated and makes it fast and efficient, coffee? hot water and Moccona.

Your eyes do not deceive! it is a capillary hoop cooker, still a red bull can just different (better) design, will drop one in your box next time I go past so you can have a play - try my windbreak/support as an alternate to the hexi stove, better wind protection and heat concentration than windbreak around hexi frame, and you fit it in your cup.

Rumpy and I have races to boil our cup of water for a hot cuppa when we are away bush stalking.....he has an absolute beauty of a set up for the beer can cooker, very similar to a thermette and just as efficent.....I use beer can cooker in old hexi frame with a 750ml mug perched on top.

It looks like we may need an alcohol stove thread? I just had a count up I’ve got 7 I can put my hand to immediately, lots more went to scrap.
    What’s Moccona?

The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

    I beg to differ, sir.

It may may not be coffee to your refined palate, but it is to mine.

Just melt polystyrene into petrol, you end up with this pink gel that can be lit and keep burning nice and low, perfect for squirting onto a bonfire that someone has started in a big flash of petrol and has died down but still has embers

I once had a bonfire go for 3 days, after that party I fished out a blue bottle (remember Vault 88?) that had been completely melted

Homemade yes, it works ok but I think that proper napalm burns a bit hotter This is more like what the US folks call sterno
