    11-87 Barrel seal (o-ring)

    Hey There

After doing some shooting and cleaning the gun, have discovered the o-ring is knackered and I have no spares, bugger. Aside from paying stupid prices for genuine Remington O-rings Does anyone Know the dimensions for one so I can buy elsewhere?

    Cheers

Quick google brings me to believe that this is what you're after:

    https://www.amazon.com/Sur-Seal-ORVT...ords=viton+021

    Or a bunch:

I'll go halves with you in a bunch if you want.

@Jexla I suspect the shipping would far exceed the oring price. I ended up going to a manawatu hydraulics and bought some. Thickness 1/16 and inner diameter was 15/16 as stated above. I suspect any similar outfit where you live should stock them, guy behind the counter said they were a common size.

    Cheers for both your help.

I hope you mean 1-5/16" Id. I used about 2-3 of these a year, replacing them well before they needed it. I was shooting about 2.5-3 slabs a season through my 1187. There is no need to use the genuine Rem O'ring. Just buy heaps of these cheap one and replace them often.

Yeah I usually go through one or two a season, however mine still cycles flawlessly without one. But they were designed to be used with one so that's how I run it.
