Loving the special season but do the dudes that make the rules know what time ducks come in at night?:wtfsmilie:
Ducks usualy come in just on dark and in summer its between 2030hrs & 2100hrs.

Bolt was a bit cautious on the hen she was wounded but soon came too Duck heaven.
He fetched the drake good that was in the long grass
Attachment 797
Time was up so we headed back too quad with birds landing in these big puddles
Bolt was interested in the splashes and the calling from the parries.
After taking jackets off quad and putting ducks on bike and the gun I took the dog back too the puddles for more training.
No gun just a young dog watching parries landing on the water and keeping him on command not too (bolt)pretty ironic when rthats his name but he did well.Photo when we got home

Looking forward to the Northlanders reports that start tommorrow for 2 days.:P

The last breasts for the summer:omg:Attachment 860
My property, which normally has a dozen or so was totally devoid of Parries. Badger got a bloody good run, flushed a few phezzies and quail:thumbsup: but chased off after a hare  I have to work on the wait command a bit harder. First time we've tried it on live game. He's a bit 'keen' which is frustrating but he can certainly find the phezzies and quail. Was nice to get a weekend of real world stuff rather than backyard training. Looking forward to the season more than ever now.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Good on ya Dundee - love the pics keep em coming.
great report there dundee, top effort u and bolt. great when it all comes togethor aye:thumbsup:
The maize is starting to be cut around here, parries appearing out of nowhere! can't wait to get stuck into them. Roll on May!
