Thread: 3 days chasing feathers

As the title suggests me and a mate just spent 3 days chasing ducks , Swans and geese. I had a very average opening weekend but 3 days with varied hunts in several locations more than made up for it.
We got off to a poor start at a very flat Ellesmere.

Pulling the pin we headed to a big irrigation pond I had permission to shoot . We shot out of layout blinds and had a blast - literally



It was then back to the lake for Saturdays southerly which lived up to the hype




We then spent the next day hitting two more ponds and doing real well on the mallards

Instead of shooting Monday we headed home as they were plenty of birds to breast, Pluck and process for the freezer
