After a miracle, a pond to shoot on opening day in Canterbury

I realise this is a long shot, but does anyone know of a pond/area to shoot on opening morning in the wider canterbury area? I will have my 9 yr old daughter and a 11mth old golden retriever with me.
Or if you have any advice on shooting public areas like Lake Ellesmere that would be great.
I have shot on the Waimak up by Oxford with limited success and on the Ashley but there is now a house close to where I shot.

You can have my maimai on the lake Easy acess and on private land . Best I can do , it's lake level dependant etc so would be a back up for you good luck on a pond .
I would have to tell farmer who you are etc too ( just had to add that )
