Leather by far.
Get a well-made, heavy leather one (not the chamois-cloth ones Beretta sell as leather) and spend the rest of your duckshooting career trying to wreck it. Then give it to your sons when your done and they can try too
Toby is right, with a big heavy-duty leather one, when it loses is ability to grip the shells, saturate it for a good few hours in water, then hang in the sun to dry minus shells. Will shrink the leather somewhat, good for another few seasons then repeat![]()
