    Banded Birds

Hi waterfowlars and waterfowlesses just wondering how many banded birds have been shot and what distances have they had traveled?

One of my lads got some jewellary off a young juvenile mallard drake this season.

It didn't get very far from the wedding reception where the ring was put on on the 2nd Feb 2019

The wedding was over on the 24th of May 2019 when it fell to a cloud of steel at warp speed.

Condolences to his bride She might be resting in peace with him to in a chilly situation

Especially when Mallard Drakes are known to be "Bisexual" or whatever the current word of the day for it is.

dont even start, apparently in one aussie state you can choose to be recognised as 1 of 32 genders.

Yes, our ocker friends across the ditch have always been "behind the times." According to Tumblr, ( I hope you know what that is) , there were 328 genders. ...........THREE YEARS AGO, so probably a lot of interbreeding since then has doubled that number ....at least

However, I suspect that like the woolly definition of a Maori, which is " If you think you are, you are," the same amount of woolliness plus a load of something else applies to gender definition.

That first post of yours is pretty funny Dundee. Just a question, if the jeweled drake was married at the Domain does this mean he was a pet or at least tamed, slower flying etc etc and therefore only worth half the usual brownie point allocation ?? Post Edit : I just clicked on your photo and it came up 'Marvin the Mallard' so the poor bastard was a pet
